About The Artist
Rokia Maizi is a self-taught Moroccan painter and interior designer, Based in USA. Her work is deeply inspired by Moroccan culture, blending traditional artisanal motifs with a contemporary artistic voice. Using materials such as acrylic, oil, and gold leaf, she creates rich, textured pieces that explore themes of identity, memory, and heritage.
In addition to her painting practice, Rokia also works in digital art, where she experiments with new forms while staying rooted in the visual language of her culture. Whether through canvas or screen, her art reflects a deep connection to her background and a desire to preserve and reimagine tradition in a modern context.
